Whitney's Blog: Six Steps To The Perfect Curl!

Hey lovelies,
The past few weeks I have noticed that a lot of you ask how I curl my hair! Today I am going to tell you step by step what I do!

What you'll need:
1 1/4" Curling Iron
L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray (or any holding spray you like)

How to do it:
1. Make sure your hair is straight and dry
2. Start with the small pieces in the front and wrap hair around barrel then close the iron
3. Curl away from the face, not towards it!
4. Hold for 5 seconds and release
5. Keep working towards the back and curl each piece in the same direction
6. Finish with a light mist of hair spray and flip head and shake to loosen the curls

The City Cast: A Night To Benefit Haiti

Last night, Janueary 20, Whitney Port co-hosted the 'A Night To Benefit Haiti' event at Thompson LES in New York City. She blogged about the event saying, "the unimaginable suffering that the people of Haiti are going through right now is something that many of us cannot even comprehend, and all we can do is offer our time and our support."

Also there to help support the benefit for Haiti were Whitney's co-stars on The City, Roxy Olin and Olivia Palermo. All proceeds went to the American Red Cross relief efforts.

Tomorrow night, January 20, I will be co-hosting an event benefiting Haiti at Thompson LES. The unimaginable suffering that the people of Haiti are going through right now is something that many of us cannot even comprehend, and all we can do is offer our time and our support.

Whitney Port: Big City Chick

Back in the Big Apple, Whitney Port was spotted out and about in New York City on Tuesday morning (January 19).

Following a weekend getaway in Miami, the MTV reality beauty hopped a ride with a taxi cab as she tended to the days duties.

Tweeting to her fans, Miss Port wrote upon returning to NYC, “almost 7 am and can’t sleep… anyone with me?”

Meanwhile, word is Whitney is currently busy planning a party to raise money for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.

Making her return to New York City, Whitney Port was spotted at JFK International Airport last night (January 18).

The “City” chick was accompanied by a guy pal as she grabbed her luggage and headed out to her chauffeured car.

Prior to her flight, Whitney made the most of the beautiful Florida sunshine with a relaxing morning next to the pool at her luxurious Miami hotel.

Miss Port spent the weekend in South Beach with her gal pal/costar Roxy Olin, prancing around in her bikini and having a marvelous time.

Showing off her fabulous bikini body, Whitney Port was spotted in Miami, FL on Monday (January 18).

Relaxing poolside, “The City” star looked to be enjoying the warmth of the Florida sun as she hung out with friends while reading a paperback book by Chelsea Handler and replying to Tweets on her cell phone.

Over the weekend, Ms Port was joined by her friend and co-star, Roxy Olin, as they both walked the boardwalk and sported some sexy bikinis.

In other news, the New York Daily News reported that Whitney and fellow MTV star Brody Jenner were spotted “cannoodling” at a party earlier this month. No confirmation on the relationship yet.

Back to life on the east coast, Whitney Port was spotted making her way around the West Village of New York City on Thursday (January 14).

Joined by a gal pal, the MTV reality star showed off her stylish ways as she ran a few errands during a break from filming duties for “The City”.

NYPD Breaks Up Filming For "The City"

Doing reality TV can be tricky. While Whitney Port, Kelly Cutrone and Roxy Olin of MTV's "The City" were styling a shoot at Grand Central Terminal for Style212.com for an upcoming episode, police came over to break up a crowd gathered around the cast. "They asked to see a permit, and it turned out that producers were using one too many cameras, so the cops pulled the permit," says a spy. "Roxy ended up getting into an argument with the cops, and they threatened to throw her in a holding cell . . . Whitney ended up running over and breaking up the argument." Cutrone's own Bravo show, "Kell on Earth," premieres on Feb. 1.

Hi guys!
I was looking through old pictures recently and found this one taken at my brother's Bar Mitzvah of me, my younger sister Paige (right), and a friend. From what I remember I think he had a Clue-type murder mystery game that people were playing at the party, so I'm pretty sure that this woman was one of the characters involved. I think I was about 7 years old in this picture. How funny are our airbrushed faces?!?! And that thing around my neck definitely was one of her props!

Dear Friends,

Although most may think Kelly Cutrone is one scary boss, she has a true heart of gold. I have not only been lucky enough to learn from her professionally but have had the chance to truly get to know her. Every day she teaches me a new lesson and showers me with words of wisdom. She has been a mother figure to me while I have been 3000 miles away from my own mother. Recently she sent me this email and I thought I would share the valuable lessons entailed.
ONE: Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

Whitney Port: Hooking Up with Brody Jenner?

It’s no secret that “The City” is always full of drama, and the latest news is that Whitney Port and Brody Jenner are looking mighty cozy as of late.

According to an insider, Miss Port and Mr. Jenner were spotted at Voyeur nightclub in Los Angeles last weekend and they looked to be more than friends.

“They didn’t come together but Whitney ran over to see him the second he walked in. They stayed together for much of the evening.”

Enter the drama - Whitney’s gal pal Lauren Conrad is said to be making an appearance on “The City” this season, and she won’t be too happy when she finds that Port has been cavorting with her ex.

“Lauren and Brody have an ongoing relationship. And she’s spoken about it with Whitney a lot, on camera and off. She’s definitely not going to be happy to hear that the two were getting so comfortable, especially when she wasn’t around.”

Whitney's Blog: LG Lotus Phone Event in Vegas

Hey lovies,
Last night I co-hosted a launch party with Brooke Shields for the new LG Lotus phone. It was on the top floor of the Palms Place in the Maloof Brother's private penthouse! It was so great to have my family there with me. My cousin Jackie lives in Las Vegas and is a professional hairstylist so of course I had her style my hair for the event. My dress was vintage white silk and lace so we decided to go with a retro look!
